Children at Christ Church

What's the Point?

Starting on Monday 30th January we will be running a 10 week course called 'what's the point?' looking at the Christian faith and what it means to be Chris-tian. It's aimed at 8-12 year old's and is from 4:45 until 6pm, in the Church lounge. In the final two weeks we will be asking the question, 'what's the point in Baptism?'. Even if you're not considering baptsim, but want to find out more, then do come along for the first 8 weeks. Sundays

We want to offer children a great time on Sunday mornings. We hope that we will help every child to grow in relationship with Jesus and to have good friends of all ages. We use small groups where the leaders and children can develop trust and openness – and have fun together!

We also aim to involve children fully in the life and ministry of the church, recognising that we all learn from each other.

In all our groups we seek to welcome and include children with special needs.

The children's groups run most weeks during term time, with an All-Age service once a month at 10.45am. During the six week school holidays, the "Summer Specials" provide a fun environment for the children to worship and learn together.
